Signed by John Le Carre to a decorative bookplate pasted to the ffep. First UK edition, first impression. Black cloth boards with bright gilt lettering to spine and to front cover and bright purple topstain.

The condition is graded as only VG because there are some small splashes/foxing to a number of the pages including pages 101-109 and 145-148. There is virtually none of the usual sunning to the spine. Scarce with the author's signature and priced to reflect the condition points above.
