UK First Edition, First Printing (The Crime Club, 1946). Signed by the author to the front endpaper.
The first novel in four years to feature Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Published in paperback in the United States in 1954 under the title'Murder After Hours'. Some soiling to top of text-block; moderate bumping to board corners. Original, price-clipped dust jacket has some loss to front panel and tips of spine panel and a tear to bottom of fore-edge; rubbing and wear to fore-edge and hinges; spine panel faded. A very good and rare copy in the dust jacket, signed by the author to front endpaper.
