The Complete Hostess by Quaglino. 1935 Signed 1st Edition by Quaglino

Here we have is a vintage book called The Complete Hostess by Giovanni Quaglino.. This 271 page signed 1935 1st edition is in solid condition. The pages have no tears or notes. The spine is solid with no loose pages. The age related discolouration to the pages is slight but quite readable.

The closed page edges have discolouration and some minor spotting. The front and back inner pages are good with no cracking but there is on the first few pages front and back quite heavy tanning and usage marks with spotting. The outer cloth hardback cover has faded and is discoloured with usage marks. There is no dust jacket. This signed book provides a wealth of information on menus, recipes, cocktails, and advice on sourcing ingredients authored by Giovanni Quaglino who was a renowned Italian restaurateur and chef who founded the famous Quaglino's restaurant in London in 1929.
