For sale is a FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING of Stephen King's The Stand, published by Doubleday in 1978. King's inscription on the first front-end page reads: " For Clark Best wishes, Stephen King 11/10/97 ". Minor gilt loss along the spine and some wear to the cover's corners. Minor residue from an old bookplate on the back of the front cover. Please see pictures for detail and request more from me, if necessary.

Dust jacket is intact and in fantastic condition. Some indications of wear at the joints, but a really nice example. Now wrapped in a brand new Brodart mylar sleeve. Gutter code of "T39" on page 823.
