SIGNED by Syd mead on the half title page. Profusely illustrated in color and b&w. Text in English and Japanese. A revised and updated version of the original 1985 Japanese edition, this handsomely printed volume contains design concepts for industry, and motion pictures such as "Star Trek: The Motion Picture", "Tron", "Blade Runner", "2010" and Anime like "Gundam". Featured as well are many of the conceptual vehicles and environments that have made Mead renowned.

Good in a good dust jacket with a good obi band. The covers show moderate wear to the edges. A heavy right angle crease to the upper right hand corner front cover.

Few other smaller and lighter creases to both covers. Internally, some stray blue marks to the first free endpaper. A couple of right angle creases to the upper right hand corner to the first few pages. Illustrations are awesome, bright and clean.

Laid in is a brochure from Oblagon on Techno Fantasy Art and a flyer of The Lear Fan Interior. The DJ is lightly soiled and rubbed w/ moderate wear and numerous creases as well as small tears to the edges and to the top and bottom of the spine. Corners and edges scuffed and rubbed.
