Includes early work, images from The Americans period, stills from Frank's films, and later collage work; presented in a diaristic, stream-of-consciousness style. Anne Clarke's gift inscription/poem to Middleton (fully in keeping with the book's own theme) fills the inside front cover and is dated Berlin, June 26, 1975 (most likely given as a gift during one of their many travels). Overall a solid, clean copy.

SIGNED by Frank with a nice association gift inscription from Clark to Middleton. BOOK CONDITION: Very Good Plus (VG+); a solid, tight, clean copy with no reading creases to spine, light wear to edges and corners of covers, tiny bump to top rifght corner affecting just the extreme tip of all pages, bump to lower spine affecting the inner guttar of pages (not affecting any omages and barely noticeable unless pages are opened fully), a bit of staining to verry margin of last 3 pages, shadow from a previous bookseller sticker (from Berlin) to the half title, and a charming full-page, stream-of--consciousness poetic gift inscription from Anne Clark filling the inside front cover.
