SIGNED/INSCRIBED by Robert Capa in blue fountain-pen ink: To Dr. Racle /gratefully / Robert Capa (either the previous owner or a family member attempted to cancel the former's name from the inscription with a black pen; we were able to discern the first name and last five letters of his surname using a Loup, but the first few letters of the surname remain elusive - none of which in any way affects Capa's clear, bold signature). BOOK CONDITION: Fine; a solid, tight, clean, copy in a Very Good Plus dust jacket showing light overall rubbing and soiling, hints of wear along edges, slight loss at corners and head of spine, small, intermittent areas of loss to margin of front and rear panels with a clear tape repair to recto of front panel near lower/right margin.

Overall a very nice copy of a scarce book in a better than average dust jacket (looks great in a new, clear, brodart protector). Overall a highly collectible SIGNED copy in the original dust jacket.
