This is a highly collectable copy of TED HUGHES Birthday Letters, one of the last few books that he signed a few months before his death. Limited numbered first edition 211 out of 300, signed. It is in immaculate condition as you can see from the photographs.

It has been kept in a plastic dust jacket to protect the cover. Please look at photos and feel free to ask me questions. Ed Hughes died nine months after the publication of Birthday Letters. When the controversial collection won the Whitbread Prize in 1999, Frieda accepted the award on her father's behalf. The poems in the collection reflect on Hughes's relationship with Sylvia Plath, and were all written in the years following her suicide in 1963.
