Between The Woods And The Water, Patrick Leigh Fermor, John Murray, 1986, First Edition, First Impression The second book in a series of three books narrating the author's journey on foot across Europe from the Hook of Holland to Constantinople in 1993 - 34. This book begins with Fermor crossing the Maria Valeria bridge from Czechoslovakia into Hungary and ends when he reaches the Iron Gate where the Danube formed the boundary between the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and Romania. The book is in fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright.

Small stain to the rear of the dust jacket. There are some mild spots of foxing to the extreme edges of some pages as shown (very few).
