The author recounts his experiences climbing K2, the second highest peak in the world, and the book is a great read for anyone interested in mountaineering and exploration. This particular copy also belonged to Trevor Braham, adding an extra level of interest to the book. The book is signed by 1953 U. K2 expedition member Tony Streather. Streather was also summiter oh Kangchenjunga on first ascent expedition and on many more major expeditions.
