Octavo (22 x 15cm), pp. Professionally recased dark green cloth with gilt titles to spine and upper board, black decoration to boards. Hand coloured frontispiece showing Butomus Umbellatus. Numerous black and white illustrations. Publisher's presentation copy inscribed to Mr.

Jones with the publisher's compliments. Bookbinder label to rear pastedown. Green cloth laid down the gutters where the book has been recased. First few pages slightly loosened with some sights of the binding, but remaining sound.
