His is a Very Good Copy of this Book in Green Cloth Boards with gilt title lettering to spine and lettered in black to the front cover. The book has advertisements to the first five pages and this copy has been Signed by the Author on the half title page and numbered No 7. The prefatory notes at the beginning of the book are dated 1906. Illustrated with 14 b&w plates. 17 Chapters in total covering discussions on Roach Fishermen of the fens, Bush fishing for Perch, Winter Chub fishing, Days among the Barbel, Pikey days and Pikey ways, With Chub and a fly rod and much more.

The book has a firm binding with No hinge weakness, a few foxing spots exist to the pre-lims and opening few pages. This copy was acquired from an impressive private library of a sporting angler and Author of several fishing titles.
