This is a rare, signed hardcover copy of "Here at Eagle Pond" by Donald Hall, who was a Poet Laureate of the United States. Hall is perhaps best known for his fondness of bucolic life in rural America (particularly the east coast). And is considered to be one of the great poets of his generation. This luxury edition, with woodcut illustrations by Thomas W. Nason, is a first edition first printing published in 1990 by Ticknor & Fields.

Slip case is in fair condition overall, with the main issue being sunning. The hardcover itself, however, is in excellent condition and shows little to no wear.
