First Edition Published By J. Dent & Co London 1896................ This is a collection of heroic deeds with notes at the rear on their inspiration. Prize Label to the front paste-down from Crosthwaite High School in Keswick indicating that Rawnsley was one of the Governors.

There is an inscription in Rawnsley's hand presenting the book as a recitation prize. Interesting association copy of a rare work. Great copy for the collector of this signed presentation copy, 8vo 183pp First Edition [1896].
