RARE SIGNED 1st Edition The Cruel Sea Nicholas Monsarrat Cassell 1951 UK HB

Signed by the man himself along with a sweet semaphore drawing in ink. Dust-wrapper has a few minor chips, small tears and scuffs esp along edges (see pics), book itself has spotting to edges, frontispiece, and spotting on the first 20 pages (see photo example of same page 10-11). Published by Cassell as a Book Society Choice this is a remarkable book which far surpasses even the good movie of the same name.
