Signed by Lady Bird Johnson, as well as containing the inscription: For Adele Simpson whose gifts of time and talent have brought me so much enjoyment! This book comes from the estate of famous fashion designer Adele Simpson who designed for multiple first ladies as well as having her own well known clothing line. Mrs Simpson is mentioned on page 487 of the book where Mrs. Johnson writes: And there are several women from the world of fashion that I've come to think of as my real friends, especially Mollie Parnis and Adele Simpson.
