RARE DOUBLE SIGNED 1st ED Red Moon and Black Mountain by Joy Chant

This is an extremely rare signed first edition, second impression of Joy Chant's debut novel, Red Moon and Black Mountain, printed in 1978. Joy Chant's real name is Eileen Joyce Rutter, and we can see on the first page that it is inscribed, To Miss Wilshaw with best wishes Joy Rutter.

" Then on the title page is the second signature, signed, "Joy Chant. An association copy given as a personal gift by the author and signed in her legal name is rare in and of itself, but for association copies to also be signed using their publishing name is almost unheard of. The dust jacket has been placed in a non-adhesive archival sleeve. Itemised condition: Dustjacket = Sun bleaching to the spine and a clipped price corner. Front cover (beneath jacket) = Mint. Back cover (beneath jacket) = Mint. Spine = Mint, likely unread. Page edges = Mint, no age related tanning or stains.
