This is a signed first edition in poor condition. It was published by Evans Brothers Limited in 1951. The title page is detached and the dust jacket has been repaired/strengthened with tape. His is the story of the 1943 raid when nearly 350 tons of water crashed into the valleys of the Ruhr, when the Lancaster bombers of 617 squadron breached the giant Moehne and Eder dams with'blockbuster' bombs.
This is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing. Book - Poor - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, a lean, some fading and slight creasing to the spine, slight surface loss/'tape marks' inside the covers, some bumping to a few pages and page corners, marking to the page edges and several pages, some foxing/discolouration to the page edges and many pages and soft, but even, tanning to the pages. The title page is detached! Poor - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, numerous nicks and tears, some loss, tape to the reverse and marking, foxing, discolouration and creasing.
There is slight loss to the text to both inside flaps. The DJ is in a protective plastic sleeve (non-adhesive).
