Author: Cornwell, Patricia Daniels Title: POST-MORTEM [Signed] Publication: New York, New York: Charles Scribner's Sons, 1990 Edition: First Edition, First Printing. In Very Good minus condition with a Very Good condition dust jacket. Spine is blue and dark green with orange and cream lettering.

Boards have mild shelving wear along tail edges, mild scuffing along front head edge. Textblock head and fore edges have light soiling, tail edge stamped with "Salvage" in black ink; interior rear endpaper has milf, faint adhesive staining and moderate waviness, title page has thin spots along tail edge and front fore edge, likely from the removal of stamps. Signed flat on title page by Patricia Daniels Cornwell. Most likely a deacquisitioned, former library book as suggested by the adhesive residue along the rear free-endpaper, the rubbing wear to title page, and the "salvage" stamp along tail edge of textblock; there are no other clues as to whether it previously belonged to an institution. POST-MORTEM is the debut of Patricia Cornwell's iconic detective, Dr. The Scarpetta series' invocation of modern forensic science inspired forensic dramas and documentaries alike such as CSI and Cold Case Files. A fictional adaptation of the Scarpetta series is currently in production by Amazon Studios, starring Nicole Kidman as the titular pathologist. DC's Oldest Rare and Used Bookstore, Second Story Books operates two open shops in the Washington D.
