A still-sealed example of this signed limited-availability (and now quite elusive) slipcased 1st edition of the highly rated 2nd novel from award-winning Ethiopian-American author, lecturer and writer Maaza Mengiste. This was featured as one of the 6 books selected on the 2020 Booker Prize Shortlist and was considered a strong contender. The Shadow King' published by W W Norton, New York on 24 September 2019 in the US as a trade edition, 1st edition, standard modern hardback, [xii] + 429 pages. This book was not released in a UK version until 30 January 2020. In New still sealed condition within the publisher sellophane.
