A lovely signed copy of the author's first novel. Previously published as an Ace paperback, this is the first hardcover edition of the book.

Housed In a Fine unclipped dustjacket but the Macdonald curse strikes again: the text-block is noticeably tanned as per usual. The book is also lightly spotted at the edges, just a wee bit, so only gets a VG. Nevertheless it remains a handsome copy, as can be seen from the accompanying image.

SIGNED at the title page and additionally dated "1986" by Kim Stanley Robinson.
