A First American Edition/Fourth Printing. Please remember this is NOT the First Edition/First Printing of this title! This is the Fourth Printing of the First Trade Edition. First published in November, 1990, this copy was published/released one month later in December. Once again, please remember this is NOT a First Edition/First Printing. Some would classify this copy as a Later Printing, an Early Printing and so on. We prefer to be as specific as possible with our classifications/descriptions which is why we refer to this copy as a First Edition/Fourth Printing.

We also have a Franklin Library Signed First Edition up for sale as well. This rare treasure has some very clearly visible wear, but is still in Highly Desirable, Highly Collectible condition! The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE.
The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean! Some general/shelf wear along with a noticeable lean/slant, creases/scuffing/wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards and creases/marks/wear to the pages, NOT affecting the text! Please note the wear to the spine/corners/cloth boards, particularly noticeable near/along the edges, and the wear that is present on the pages, particularly noticeable on certain pages. The wear is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped but has considerable wear!Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, rips and marks. There are also some large marks on the inside of the dust jacket!
Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. We tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare book. We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear. Once again, we want to reiterate that the wear to both the book and the dust jacket is VERY clearly visible!
