John Wyndham 1st Edition Collection including signed copy of Day of the Triffids
For sale is my collection of 17 used first edition John Wyndham hardback novels including a very rare signed copy of The Day of The Triffids. 1 The Day of the Triffids. A signed Michael Joseph 1951 first edition with original unclipped dust jacket and a truly spectacular dated autograph (see pictures). Dust jacket is clean but a little tatty with an additional wrapper. Book is exceptionally clean and tight. Obviously as an autographed copy this book represents the majority of the value of this collection.
A Michael Joseph 1957 first edition hardback with unclipped dust jacket. An exceptionally clean dust jacket (most seem to be discoloured).
A nice copy with some foxing of the pages. I've never seen another copy with a dust jacket as clean as this one. A Michael Joseph 1953 first edition hardback with unclipped dust jacket. Book is a little distressed and the dust jacket has a tear half the length of the front edge. Some minor pencil writing inside the front cover.A John Beynon original Newnes 1935 hardback without dust jacket. Binding is clean and tight.
Pages have a little foxing. Inside of book is clean except for some very minor pencil writing inside the front cover. Downside is the book has owner's stamps inside the front and rear covers, and also significant handwriting, scrawls and signatures inside the front cover. 6 Consider Her Ways & Others.

A nice copy inside and out but with a library stamp on the top edge of the pages. This is the original version with just 4 chapters. A Science Fiction Book Club 1961 first edition hardback with unclipped dust jacket. The book and pages are exceptionally clean and the book still has its original green dust jacket. Dust jacket has a tiny tear at the back and some discolouration of the spine.
This is the undated version with 5 chapters instead of 4. A Michael Joseph 1968 first edition hardback with unclipped dust jacket.
