1931, died 12 December 2020 writing under his pen name of John Le Carre, was one of the world's leading writers of espionage fiction, acclaimed for the realism of his works, drawing on his own personal experiences of working within the British Secret Service. He has won multiple awards for his novels such as The Spy Who Came In From The Cold, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Smiley's People, The Night Manager and The Constant Gardener, and many of his works have been adapted into hugely successful movies and TV series.
The Mission Song' published by Hodder and Stoughton in London in 2006, 1st edition, standard modern hardback, should be (vi) + 346 pages. This slipcase edition is signed by the author at a special limitation page. It was available in a limited run of only 1500 worldwide copies. In New unread condition, still sealed, no dustjacket as issued.
