There is the usual age-related toning to the paper-stock, typical of the early 1960's and there is a small blotch to the front page block that has crept into the edge of pages 129-159 with some minor splashing coffee? Else in remarkably good order. The UNCLIPPED jacket has a slightly faded spine, also typical of this volume, yet remains otherwise crisp with sharp and bright cover and some browning to the rear. Flat-signed early First Edition Le Carre's command a substantial premium in today's market, this label-signed example is arguably the next best thing.
