An incredibly scarce, early press of Amor Towles first published novel. This is a 1st/4th, hand signed with stamp of authenticity.

The book is in excellent condition. The hardback exterior has some minor marks and rubbing ti extremities. Spine is straight and true and tightly bound.

If read, it has been very well handled. Internally it is near mint, with a dust jacket suffering no loss/fade/similar. There are small signs of wear to extremeties, most notable to top and bottom of spine, but still excellent. A very sought after book, which is rarely available. Set in New York City in 1938, Rules of Civility tells the story of a watershed year in the life of an uncompromising twenty-five-year-old named Katey Kontent.
