Description: A nice example of the first printing of the first edition nicely SIGNED by Sir Henry Newbolt to his son: "Francis Newbolt, from Henry Newbolt". 272 pages plus coloured frontispiece and thirty other illustrations by Stanley L Wood. Original blue cloth boards with titles to spine. In very nice condition, with a little bumping and wear to extremities, and fading to spine (see pictures). Very light browning to prelims.

Nicely signed by Sir Henry Newbolt to his son Francis Newbolt to the front free end paper. A very nice copy of the uncommon first printing.
