E H Shepard SIGNED Drawn From Life, 1st/1st 1961 With letter from Eric Sheaf

Edition: First Edition, First Printing. Description: Signed by the author, E H Shepard, and scarce thus. This is an interesting association copy containing a letter from Eric Watson Sheaf to his daughter Daphne, which begins I hope you have not got this book already. If you search you will find Kip's autograph on one of the early pages.

"Kip" was the nickname for Shepard used by his friends and family. A very nice example of the first printing of the first edition, in the original dustwrapper. The dustwrapper is in very attractive condition with some light wear, shown in the pictures. Not price clipped, showing the original 25s price to the inside front flap.

The book itself is in excellent condition. A very nice example of the first printing, nicely signed by the author, and further signed by Eric Watson Sheaf, with a handwritten letter from him to his daughter.
