Other than some shelf wear on the dust jacket (& a small tear is on the bottom of the dust jacket spine), this shows almost no wear. It is still crisp and shows little evidence that it was opened or read much after the signing. There is VERY slight foxing (almost imperceptible yellowing of the edges of the pages) and a few tiny foxing marks on the upper corner spine. Please view pictures that show the exact condition.
Peter graduated from Harvard & was a well known curator & museum director who held museum positions all over the world (also attached is his bio). Peter personally met with David Hockney on tour in Australia and then again at his exhibit New Paintings at MFA Boston in 1998. We are not sure when this was signed. More items from my grandfather's collection will be listed in the future - fine art posters, prints, woodcuts, hand signed books & an extensive collection of African & Papua New Guinea tribal pieces (if not donated to a local museum). Any questions, feel free to reach out. Please note - feedback is very important to sellers, so we don't leave feedback until it is received from buyers.
