David Attenborough Signed Zoo Quest First Edition Set Guiana Dragon Lutterworth
Zoo Quest complete set by David Attenborough. The Zoo Quest in Paraguay volume is signed to the title page by the author. All are first edition, first impressions in original dust jackets. Generally a tidy set with bright jackets and securely bound books without inscriptions in very good condition. Guiana - Unclipped jacket with three tears to the top edge of the back, otherwise tidy, Green cloth covers, with a lean, bright gilt to the spine, a few minor spots to the top edge and endpapers, pages otherwise bright and free from inscriptions.
Dragon - Unclipped jacket with a single tear to the top edge of the front which has been neatly secured, otherwise tidy. Red covers are also tidy, just a slight lean, securely bound, pages clean and bright, free from inscriptions. Paraguay - Jacket with some wear to the edges, with a small tear and chipping to the top edge by the spine, another small tear to the fore edge flap, unclipped.
Green covers, securely bound, top edge plus first and last few pages with some spotting, a rare spot within pages, signed by the author to the title page, no other inscriptions. Paradise - Dust jacket has been price clipped, spine faded, otherwise smart. Red covers are smart and square, a couple of very tiny bumps, securely bound, pages clean and bright, no inscriptions. The front free endpaper has been removed, otherwise very good condition. Madagascar - jacket price clipped, some faint marks to the inside of the jacket, otherwise tidy, blue covers, small bump to the bottom of the spine, with a lean, securely bound, top edge lightly spotted, small mark to the free endpaper, an occasional spot creeping in from the top edge, no inscriptions.
Capricorn - Jacket has been price clipped, with a few small marks to the back, otherwise bright and smart. Green covers, securely bound, a small tick to the free endpaper in green pen, the half title has a tiny area of loss to top the inner edge, probably having occurred during the manufacturing process. Provenance - The signed volume is from The Clive Bullimore collection, Sworders auctions June 2023. Will be securely bubble wrapped and packed in a box.
