I'm Jim Camp, owner/operator of the synaesthesia press. I'm a letterpress printer; I publish work by authors I find interesting from time to time; I make pictures; and, finally, I'm a bookseller. It's time these titles found a new home. If you're a collector, you might score, and if you're a dealer, you might grab something you can flip.

After all, condition is everything. Santa Barbara, CA: The Black Sparrow Press, 1978. VG+ in glassine DJ as published. Copy 51 of the 300 issued, this is a beautiful copy with one tiny flaw that isn't easy to explain: the colophon page appears as if it had been adhered to the page immediately in proceeding and following, creating a small, 1/2 tear to the upper-left, topmost part of that page when the book was initially opened.

(I know, as I was the one who opened it and caused the tiny tear some 30 years ago after purchasing it from noted BSP collector and bookman Ben Sackheim). It's a flaw that could be easily missed (and is 100% imperceptible unless the book is opened to that specific page), but I wanted to make sure it was adequately described.

It's important to note this flaw was due to something that happened during the production of the book and not from being mishandled nor from any glue or adhesive. It's almost as if the page wasn't properly cut at the binder's.

Again, difficult to describe but taken into full consideration when I priced the book. Laid in is a 4-page list of the new titles for fall/winter of 1978, and it's the only one I've seen. Again, I want to reiterate this is much better than it sounds and more than reasonably priced.

Return the book if it isn't doesn't meet your needs. Remember to come back regularly to check my listings and don't forget to look over in my store more, good stuff! Keep your eyes peeled from upcoming, 7 and 10-day auctions I've got a lot of rare and usual books, Bukowski, Beats, little mags, modern firsts, etc. And one last thing: please like the synaesthesia press if you're over on Facebook, and you can find me on social media (Twitter and IG) at JimCamp3.
