Cecil Day-Lewis was Poet Laureate from 1968 until his death in 1972. An Italian visit is a voyage of discovery, not only of scenes and cities, but also of the latent faculties of the traveller's heart and mind. This is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing.

Book - Good - minor rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, a spine lean, some marking, foxing, discolouration and a v. Slight bend to the covers, creasing to the'signed' page, slight marking to the page edges, some foxing/discolouration to the page edges and many pages, darkening to the top page edges, a wave to the page block (slight'crinkling') and soft even tanning to the pages. Dust Jacket - Average - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners and edges, numerous v. Small nicks and tears and marking, staining, fading, foxing, discolouration and some creasing.
