BEE-KEEPING NEW AND OLD DESCRIBED WITH PEN AND CAMERA Herrod-Hempsall VOLUMES 1 and 2. These editions were published by the Beekeepers Journal in 1930 and 1936 respectively.
They have been rebound very well and at some expense but Volume 1 has been entitled Old and New on the sleeve. They are in good condition given age and journal source. Volume 2 appears in sections A and B - volume 2 is quite rare - - but, given that they involve 3000 pages plus, I cannot imagine the contents of these ever appearing in a single volume!
You will see from the handwritten letter from the letter from Herrod - Hempsall pasted in the cover of Volume 2 in 1942 that this volume was difficult to come by even then!
