The first printing of the first edition. Nicely SIGNED by the author's daughter to the front free end paper. B with black and white drawings throughout. Original pictorial hardback in original jacket. The dustwrapper is not price clipped, showing the original 16s price to the inside of the front flap (see pictures).
It is in excellent condition with no obvious signs of wear (see pictures). The book itself is also in excellent condition (see picture). Light toning to page edges. An interesting family association copy.
