A TRUE First American Trade Edition/First Printing/First State with ALL First Edition Points present, including a FULL number line ending with "1" and the correct ISBN. This rare treasure has SUBSTANTIAL wear which. The book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no remainder marks, no missing pages, and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE.
Some general/shelf wear along with.. The wear is extensive and particularly noticeable near/along the edges! Marks/wear to the edge/fore pages. One can clearly see some partial separation, rips and exposed webbing at the area that connects some of the pages to the spine.
While all of the pages are present and attached, the book should be handled with care to avoid further damage. The wear is noticeable on all the pages but particularly egregious on certain pages. We assume the warping that is present on the pages was caused by water or liquid. The wear to the pages is extensive!All of the wear previously mentioned is VERY clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered. The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact but also has SUBSTANTIAL wear! Some general/shelf wear along with creases, scuffing, marks and rips. Please note the wear on the spine, at the corners and near/along the edges! The wear, particularly near/along the edges, is considerable and very clearly visible!
All of the wear should be carefully examined/considered.
