#3&5 THE UNPUBLISHED PRE-2005 DUST JACKET COVER Dust Jacket is Signed by George R. Martin, Stephen Youll, & Jamie S. #2,3, &5 Approximately 100 of the Unpublished Dust Jacket Covers were not destroyed by Bantam, and survive today Approximately 100 of these Unpublished Dust Jacket Covers exist in the world, today.

The book's publisher Bantam, decided to change the cover at the last minute to the solid red cover with an embossed crow. A few of these unfolded flats were sent to the artist and to the author for their approval, prior to Bantam's decision to completely change A Feast For Crows Dust Jacket design. This is one of those surviving dust jackets. I personally obtained this DJ cover from the artist Stephen Youll. The cover illustration by artist Stephen Youll, who is also the artist responsible for the covers of the previous books in the series, depicts the character Sir Jamie Lannister The Lord Commander of the King's Guard mounted on his horse outside the walls of King's Landing.

In the previous book A Storm of Swords, Sir Jamie Lannister's hand was chopped off by Vargo Hoat, but note that you can not see Jamie's gold prosthetic hand as he is wearing an armored glove.
