Here is Gorey, doing what Gorey does best--and what only Gorey can do: droll, cracked Victorian pen-and-ink takeoffs on melodramas and primers, bicycles and divas, allegories and crime.

This book is in very good condition. Rubbing/chipping/shelf wear to the jacket around the edges, corners and at the top/bottom of the spine panel as well as one small, closed tear near top corner of front jacket panel. Light shelf wear to the front/rear jacket panels as well as along the spine panel.

Boards are straight and clean with four good corners. The spine and pages are very tight. There are no other marks, tears, bookplates or writing in this book.
