Limited numbered and signed Arcadia Press Edition. Fine in ornately illustrated vellum boards. This edition of 55 was hand bound by Zaehnsdorf. This copy is hand numbered 20 of 55 (numbers 51-55 were not offered for sale). SIGNED by Duca Uberto Visconti di Modrone on the title page. Beautifully bound in vellum boards with gilt embossed illustration to the front panel, raised bands and gilt embossed lettering along the spine, gilt embossed details to the dentelles, and bright gilt to the page ends. Housed in the publisher's clam shell box with gilt lettering to the spine. The inner box is lined with red felt. Marks and stains to the box. The book is clean and bright, with some marks to the top edge of the pages. Spine very good condition gilt titles.Boards very good condition illustrated to the front board. Page edges good condition gilt with marks to the top.
Paste downs very good condition silk. End papers very good condition patterned silk. Title very good condition inscribed by the Duca.
