Book housed to a tri-fold cloth covered slip, then housed in a quarter leather slipcase, book in the original paper dustjacket in very good condition. Colour and black and white illustrations, complete. With a postcard of the Bounty addressed to Wm Zabrinskie.
Approximately 8 ¾ inches tall. Spine - very good condition - gilt tiles to a green leather strip, gilt decorations. Joints - very good condition - gently rubbed and worn. Corners - very good condition - gently bumped and worn.
Boards - good to very good condition - minor marks and scratches, half leather, gilt decoration, gilt axe, arrow and quiver to the front board. Dust jacket - very good condition - creased and wrinkled wax paper dust jacket. Page edges - good condition - tanned. Hinges - very good condition - sound.
