Signed Mike Mignola IDW Hellboy Artists Edition 1st Print & unpub sketchbook
Signature was personally obtained at the NYC comic art expo con on 4/28/19 where Mike Mignola was a guest. This giant 12x17 200 page book contains the art to Hellboy in Hell issues 1-5 plus six additional stories including the first three Hellboy stories ever created. Artists Editions books are faithful reproductions of the original art at actual size so flipping through the book is like flipping through a stack of Mignola originals, see sample photos.
The book is in great condition, all four corners are sharp. The sketchbook is a super rare unpublished spiral bound xerox sketchbook (8.5"x11", 65 pages long) of Jack Kirby's New Gods characters drawn by Mike Mignola. Content includes various sketches of Darkseid (young and old), Granny Goodness, Mister Miracle, Big Barda, the Female Furies, and many more (see pictures 9-12 for typical content). Also included are a couple of reading copies (both have wear/damage) of a Hellboy comic (Being Human) and a trade paperback (Troll Witch & Others, the seventh trade paperback collection in the Hellboy that collects various mini-series, one-shots and back-up features).
