10 For two years or so, prior to the book's actual release this was the cover that was shown by Bantam, and on websites such as Amazon, and other online book sellers websites, as the cover that would be published. The book's publisher Bantam, decided to change the cover at the last minute to the solid red cover with an embossed crow. A few of these unfolded flats were sent to the artist and to the author for their approval, prior to Bantam's decision to completely change A Feast For Crows Dust Jacket design.

This is one of those surviving dust jackets. I personally obtained this DJ cover from George R. The cover illustration by artist Stephen Youll, who is also the artist responsible for the covers of the previous books in the series, depicts the character Sir Jaime Lannister The Lord Commander of the King's Guard mounted on his horse outside the walls of King's Landing.

In the previous book A Storm of Swords, Sir Jaime Lannister's hand was chopped off by Vargo Hoat, but note that you can not see Jaime's gold prosthetic hand as he is wearing an armored glove. THE BOOK ITSELF IS APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN READ ONE TIME - WHITE INTERIOR PAGES - NO INTERIOR MARKS, NO SMELLS, NO TEARS, NO MISSING PAGES, NO DOG EARED PAGES, ETC. NOTE: 1 - The book's spine shows minor crimping at the top and the bottom from sitting on a shelf. 2 - The book has been read one time, and has a small crack located at the top of the spine on the interior near the title page, so it is ever so slightly loose.
