The inscription then adds that this book will not be published until August.With this inscription we can come to the conclusion that not only is this an advance copy but that this copy was read by Ernest Hemingway. Octavo, viii, 367 pages, publisher's cloth covered boards, some wear and fraying to corners, edges, head and tail of spine, a previous owner Pierre F. Sicari's bookplate and an image of Ernest Hemingway and his wife Pauline on front paste down endpaper, else textblock clean and tight and in very good condition.
